for PhD Researchers & Academic Staff Teaching& Training

 

 

Required Documents:

For PhD Applicants:

  • A copy of proof of level of registration at CU signed and stamped by the faculty.
  • A copy of last level certificate.
  • Learning agreement for studies, signed by the student, signed & stamped by home faculty “filling in Part1: Before the Mobility”.
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency (Minimum level B2).
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program at the time of application and during the whole period of studies and must have registered their proposal.
  • Applicants should provide a report from their supervisor about the thesis progress and should mention in the email body in which phase are they on the time of application.
  • Letter of motivation (No more than one page)
  • A copy of valid passport or ID
  • Updated CV (Maximum 2 Pages).

For staff Researchers:

  • A copy of proof of level of registration at CU signed and stamped by the faculty.
  • The mobility agreement should be signed by the applicant, signed & stamped by home faculty.
  • Letter of motivation (No more than one page).
  • A copy of valid passport or ID.
  • Updated CV (Maximum 2 Pages).

How to Apply?

All the required documents should be sent as one clear PDF file by email in the following format:

  • Email Subject: (Host University Name) – (Type of Mobility) – (Name and surname in English as will be written in passport).
  • Email content: (self-introduction, name, date of birth ../../...., passport number, faculty, program applying for & list of attachments).

More Information

  • DO NOT contact the host university before the nomination and selection process; contacts and queries are only with the International Relations Office at Cairo University.
  • Signature & stamp must be right next to the name of the responsible person at the sending institution.
  • All applications are pre-screened by the selection committee.
  • Incomplete and late applications will be AUTOMATICALLY DISCARDED.
