NATURAL SCIENCES, mathematics and Statistics,
inter-disciplinary programs(ISCED 0588)
Required Documents
- A copy of proof of level of registration at CU signed and stamped by the faculty.
- A copy of candidate’s transcript of records, including GPA for the last level certificate.
- A copy of last level certificate.
- Learning agreement for studies KA 171, signed by the student, signed & stamped by home faculty “filling in Part1: Before the Mobility” with detailed list of courses.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (Minimum level B2).
- M.Sc. students must be enrolled in a master program at the time of application and during the whole period of studies must have registered their proposal.
- PhD students must be enrolled in a PhD program at the time of application and during the whole period of studies and must have registered their proposal.
- For the PhD student, it is important to have an invitation letter from a supervisor at the host university.
- Students should submit a report signed by their supervisor about the thesis progress.
- Letter of motivation (No more than one page).
- A copy of valid passport or ID.
- Updated CV (Maximum 2 Pages).
Important Guidelines
- DO NOT contact the host university before the nomination and selection process; contacts and queries are only with the International Relations Office at Cairo University.
- Signature & stamp must be right next to the name of the responsible person at the sending institution.
- All applications are pre-screened by the selection committee.
- Incomplete and late applications will be AUTOMATICALLY DISCARDED.
How to Apply?
All the required documents should be sent as one clear PDF file by email in the following format:
- Email Subject: (Host University Name) – (Type of Mobility) – (Name and surname in English as will be written in passport).
- Email content: (self-introduction, name, faculty, GPA, program applying for, & list of attachments).
