Required Documents

§ Undergrad students must be enrolled at least in the second year of higher education studies.

§ Photo (Mandatory for all applicants).

§ Passport/ID.

§ Statement of support from the University of Origin-This document must be issued by a professor or                           

    by the respective academic department of the applicant. (Mandatory for all applicants).

§ Statement issued by the home institution regarding the applicant’s enrollment in the degree course   

    (Mandatory for Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate).

§ Certificate providing the obtained degree (Mandatory for Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate)

§ Proposed Study Plan-(Mandatory for Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate)

§ M.Sc. students must be enrolled in a master program at the time of application and during the whole   

    period of studies must have registered their proposal.

§ PhD students must be enrolled in a PhD program at the time of application and during the whole  

    period of studies and must have registered their proposal.

§ Certificate of language skills –In cases when institutions do not require it, it is optional.

§ Academic and administrative staff must work at a partner institution of the project in order to be     

            eligible to apply for a grant.

§Staff applicants will have to present just one letter issued by the home university (that also includes

     the information that was provided before for the Main Activity).

All documents must be dated, signed and stamped by the institution.

§ All uploaded documents at UP Portal must be submitted to CU IRO as ONE Clear PDF file to:  mobility@iro.cu.edu.eg

§ Email Subject: (Host University Name) – (Type of Mobility)- (Name and surname in English as will be written in passport).

§ Email content: (Self Introduction, name, faculty, programme applying for, date of birth .../.../…., passport number & list of attachments).

Important Notes& Regulations

§   All online applications on UP website without sending a copy of the documents to CU International   

   Relations Office will be Automatically Discarded.

§ Signature & stamp must be on the first page with list of courses, besides to the one of the      responsible person at the sending institution.

§ The area of studies for the chosen mobility must be relevant to studies at home university.

§ All applications are pre-screened by the selection committee.

§ In complete and late Applications will be Automatically Discarded.
